Miss Sunshine's name means compassion. She started her life's journey in a town in Western India. Anyone who has ever met her has felt greatly impacted by her. Whether inspired by her beauty, pierced by her lazar-like gaze, or floored by the depth of her thoughts, no one remains unaffected. I am so very proud of her and so very honored to be her mother. Should her birth mother ever read this, I would want her to know that I have raised our daughter to love her and know that she did the very best she could for Miss Sunshine. Thank you so much for giving her life. I hope the two of you can know each other someday and that I will get to meet you and thank you personally. I know that the decision you had to make was not something you wanted and that it hurt you deeply. We think of you often and wish you well.
